about Kate
Kate Williams, MA, CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist currently based in Indianapolis. She specializes in therapy to treat toddler language development, articulation, social skills, and phonological processing (dyslexia). Kate has specific training in the Conscious Discipline program and approaches therapy with the goal of connection. A learner who is having fun and connecting with others experiences the most growth.
Kate has 11 years of experience in the field of speech-language pathology. She started out in the public school system in Cedar Rapids, IA, then moved to Boston and worked in Early Intervention serving children ages birth-3 in their homes. Next, she worked in Providence, RI in a specialized school setting to support K-12 students with social-emotional and behavior needs. She has extensive experience working with learners who are Autistic and/or Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
Kate loves being active in her community of Irvington, Indianapolis and hopes to establish a brick and mortor therapy/creative space there soon.
